Attend quarterly meetings to review selling and marketplace trends
2+ years’ experience in the apparel industry
Degree in Apparel or Fashion
Experience with CAD and Adobe (Photoshop & Illustrator) software
Flat sketching skills
Ability to recolor artwork & prints
Knowledge of the wash & dye process, embellishments & different fabrics
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Effective time management and ability to stay organized

1st thru Production Pattern Maker - Los Angeles, CA
Pattern maker for our established better sportswear division and emerging contemporary divisions (knits, dresses, woven blouses, jackets, pants -- all women's apparel categories).
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to details, and must be able to work well in a team setting. Great organization skills, self-motivation, and plenty of energy are essential.
Preparing patterns from design specifications and/or sample garments.
Reviewing patterns and making alterations for sewing or fit for production releases.
Creating development and production patterns and making changes on the Gerber system.
Performing pattern corrections as a result of fittings or changes.
Developing fit standards to ensure consistency of fit
Computer literacy and Gerber system a must
Minimum two years’ experience as First thru Production pattern maker
Bilingual English/Spanish is not required but is a plus.
